<p>The heat sink [20] is a block of high thermal conductivity metal and is pressed against the microprocessor [31]. The heat sink has a number of parallel ribs and forced air flow is produced by an axial flow fan [22]. The fan and heat sink are held together by a two part metal clip [10,16] which both have hooks [162] that engage with slots in the housing. One clip locates into a slot in the other.</p> |
