The heat exchanger comprises a core unit (110) consisting of alternately laminated tubes (111) and fins (112) which are provided between the tubes. A U-shaped side plate (113) is connected to the outer portions of the core unit. A pair of rubber mounting plates (170) mounts a bracket (150) to the side plate. An Independent claim is also included for a method of manufacturing the heat exchanger comprising assembling and brazing a core and coupling a mounting made of rubber to it.
