The truck has a platform for the driver to stand on and includes a sensor for detecting whether the driver is on the platform or not, as well as a steering sensor. The truck can be driven when the driver is not on the platform, but the maximum speed will depend on the steering angle and it is reduced in two or more steps along a curve as the maximum speed is reduced with an increasing steering angle. Once the steering angle exceeds an upper limit of e.g. 30 deg., no power is supplied to the drive device. |
