PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen absorbing alloy container capable of increasing the filling rate of a hydrogen absorbing alloy without lowering thermal conductivity and inducing damage to equipment. SOLUTION: Plate fins 4 are disposed in a cylindrical container body 1, the hydrogen absorbing alloy 6 is stored between the plate fins, and a heat medium moving route 7 is thermal-exchangeably disposed with the container body. An edge 4a extending along the inner surface of the container body 1 and coming into contact with the inner surface is provided at the peripheral edge of the plate fin 4. Elastically deformable parts 4b and 4c curved or bent so as to extend in the axial direction of the container body are provided on the plate fin 4, whereby the hydrogen absorbing alloy can be filled into the container at a density higher than that in conventional containers by maintaining the thermal conductivity satisfactorily without inducing the damage to the equipment so that a compact design is allowed. |
