<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve for resetting capable of resetting a male member from both a separate type female member and an integrated type female member, and a coupling assembly. SOLUTION: This coupling 10 connects two members, i.e., a male member 12 and a female member 14 to each other. The sleeve for resetting having a rigidity reset part and a seal part is movably installed on the male member 12. The female member 14 is formed integrally with a machine such as a pump, and comprises a duct for receiving the male member 12. When the male member 12 is connected to the female member 14, the seal part is engaged with the recessed lock surface 74 of the female member 14 to substantially prevent dirt and other contaminants from entering the duct. Desirably, the male member 12 is removed from both the separate type female member and the integrated type female member 14.</p> |
