<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide highly precise discharge capacity control technique taking an actual operation condition of a compressor into account in a variable displacement compressor. SOLUTION: In this swash plate type variable displacement compressor 100, high speed protection control of a capacity control valve 70 taking an inertia force by a piston 15 into account is performed to improve the reliability of the compressor itself, to say concretely, the strength of the piston 15 itself and capacity controllability of hunting when operating at a high speed. In this high speed protection control operation, the control for restricting an upper limit value of a command current value In for a coil 97 is performed based on the number of revolutions N of the compressor 100, a current value I inputted into the coil 97 of the capacity control valve 70, and a refrigerant discharge pressure Pd. When the compressor 100 is in a predetermined high rotation region based on the number of revolutions N and it is determined that operation discharge capacity V is in a high actual operation condition in which it is larger than upper limit discharge capacity V0 at that time, control processing of an input current inputted into the coil 97 is performed.</p> |
