PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a universal joint with two or three-rotary degree of freedom capable of getting a wide range of rotary angle and obtaining high rigidity, high accuracy, and low friction. SOLUTION: The universal joint is provided with the first and second vibratory bearings 1, 2 whose vibratory centers O1, O2 cross with each other at right angles. In the first vibratory bearing 1, the vibratory member 11 is supported by arcuate antifriction bearings 71, 72 in the track member 10. In the antifriction bearings 71, 72, a plurality of rollers 18, 19 are interposed between the arcuate raceway faces 12, 13 opposite to each other put in the track member 10 and the track faces 14, 15 formed in the vibratory member 11. Conical roller are used for the rollers 18, 19. A restrictive means 26 for the vibratory extent is provided against cages 20, 20 retaining the rollers 18, 19.
