PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly release a molded product from a mold equipped with a valve device during opening a mold, in a valve gate mold assembly with a valve pin installed in a direction crossing the mold opening/closing direction. SOLUTION: The valve gate mold assembly is equipped with a liquid pressure cylinder device for driving the valve pin 61 in an axial direction D, and the valve pin 61 is arranged in a finely movable manner in a piston 73 of the liquid pressure cylinder device. A gate 33 is closed in such a way that the tip of the valve pin 61 is protruded into a cavity 23 from the gate 33. After a molding material is cured in the cavity 23, the tip of the valve pin 61 is extracted from the cavity 23 in such a way that the gate 33 is closed. After this extracting procedure, a cavity side 21 and a movable part 22 are opened in a mold opening/closing direction A. When a molded product is released, the tip of the valve pin 61 does not become caught by the molded product.
