PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery consumption alarming device for a ship and a battery residual charge maintaining device useful for avoiding lack of battery residual to cause trouble in starting an engine. SOLUTION: Power which is consumed from a battery and power with which the battery is charged are monitored as the residual charge of the battery by accumulating a current flow. When determined that the residual charge is smaller than a preset value, an alarm signal is issued to give information to a person with the alarm signal. Furthermore, when determined that the residual charge is smaller than the preset value, a signal is issued for starting the engine. Thus, the engine is started and the charge of the battery is started by a generator belonging to the engine. |
