摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently flatten a pixel part by using a structure provided with a light shading layer under TFTs in a liquid crystal panel of an active matrix driving system by driving the TFTs. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel (100) is provided with a liquid crystal layer (50) held between a pair of substrates, and pixel electrodes (11) arranged in a matrix form on a TFT array substrate (10). The light shading layer (3) is arranged so as to overlap the TFTs (30) and capacitance lines (3b) looking at it from the underside. In an area where the light shading layer (11a) is formed, 1st interlayer insulating layers (12, 13) arranged on the TFT array substrate are formed on the light shading layer, and in an area not formed with the light shading area, the 1st interlayer insulating layers are formed in a recessed form in the part faced to the TFTs, capacitance lines, or the like looking from the counter substrate side.
