PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multibeam type optical scanner and an image forming device capable of yielding a high-quality image excellent in color reproducibility in color image formation and having little irregular density by reducing the fluctuation of a scanning position caused by the change in the ambient temperature and change with time and the fluctuation of a pitch between multibeams. SOLUTION: This optical scanner has a plurality of coupling lenses 3 coupling beams radiated from a plurality of semiconductor lasers 1, a light deflector deflecting the beam by the use of a deflection and reflection surface, a deflector front optical system condensing the beam from the lenses 3 nearly like a line long in a main scanning corresponding direction near the deflection and reflection surface of the light deflector, a scanning optical device condensing the deflected beam by the light deflector as a light spot on a surface to be scanned, a detection means detecting the scanning position of the light spot on the surface to be scanned, and a control means performing feedback-control so that the scanning position of each light spot may be an aimed position. It has a plurality of light emitting parts 21, 22, 23 and 24 where the semiconductor laser 1 and the lens 3 are integrally held, and each light emitting part has a driving part 6 independently adjusted.
