PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveguide equipped with a reflecting mirror which is highly precise and easily manufactured, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: By emitting/condensing an ultra-short pulse laser beam into a clad layer 1 from outside of it, a reflecting mirror 4 of sealed-space type comprising air bubbles is formed. The light made incident on a core layer 2-1 is totally reflected on the reflecting mirror 4 and then emited from a core layer 2-3. |
