PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide recycled polypropylene fibers that have excellent light fastness and high fiber strength and emit no noxious gas on incineration, using reclaimed materials. SOLUTION: The recycled polypropylene fibers are produced from a raw material prepared by remolding the waste polypropylene films, nonwoven fabrics and the like. The melt flow rate of the formed propylene fiber is 5-70 g/10 min, the fiber strength is >=1.50 cN/dtex, when a light stabilizer is added in the polymer in 0.1-3 mass% and the strength retention is >=50 % after the light radiation for 600 hours with the carbon arc type light resistance tester.
