PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for prophylaxis or therapy of diabetes. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical composition for the prophylaxis or therapy of the diabetes comprises a compound having general formula (I) [wherein A denotes benzene, pyridine, pyridazine, pyrimidine, pyrrole, furan, thiophene, pyrazole, imidazole, isoxazole or isothiazole which may be substituted; R<1> denotes an aryl group or a heteroaryl group which may be substituted; R<2> denotes a nitrogen-containing heteroaryl group which may be substituted; and R<3> denotes a monocyclic or a polycyclic nitrogen-containing heterocyclic ring which may be substituted, with the proviso that the atoms on the cyclic group A to which R<1> and R<3> are bound are each adjacent to the atom on the cyclic group A to which R<2> is bound], its pharmacologically acceptable salt, a pharmacologically acceptable ester thereof or other derivatives as an active ingredient.
