SAMPLE STORAGE CASE AND RACK FOR STORING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the storage of a large number of samples in a limited space. SOLUTION: A sample case has a plurality of fine pipes which support the samples within the pipes. The sample case is provided with a box-shaped container having a bottom surface with an almost square shape and an opened top, a number of partitioned plates in the longitudinal direction which are arranged to extend in the longitudinal direction of the bottom surface of the container, and a number of partitioned plates in the transverse direction which are arranged to extend in the transverse direction of the bottom surface of the container. A number of the respective partitioned plates in the longitudinal direction and a number of the respective partitioned plates in the transverse direction perpendicularly intersect each other to form a number of lattice segments. The partitioned plates in the longitudinal direction and the partitioned plates in the transverse direction are provided with respective partitioned members having respective predetermined marks which are applied every predetermined number of the plates.
