<p>A pump (26) for use with a dispensing unit of a hot melt adhesive system (10) includes a removable filter (80). The filter (80) is coupled with a cartridge (82) which is threaded into a chamber (68) of the pump (26). The chamber (68) is located between the inlet (70) and outlet (71) of the pump (26) so that this portion of the flow path through the pump (26) ensures passage of the hot melt adhesive through the removable filter (80). The pump (26) provides convenient access to the filter (80) for service and replacement.</p> |
