<p>When an IC card is held over an external card read/write device, the IC card starts communication with the card read/write device via a radio interface and change of internal state of the IC card is notified to the external device using an external wired interface or dedicated control signal line, so that a particular application is started in the external device and power supply of a controller is turned on to start operation. Alternatively, the power supply of the controller is cut off to terminate operation of the controller. Thus, it is possible to smoothly start a processing according to the communication state between the IC card and the card read/write device and the internal state of the IC card.</p> |
