PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fragrant ink composition suitable for writing or coating tools each having a mechanism for delivering an ink by a capillary action, and to provide a writing or coating tool using the ink composition. SOLUTION: This fragrant ink composition is characterized by containing perfume-having microcapsules in which a perfume component is encapsulated, a water-soluble polymer coagulant, and water as essential components, wherein the perfume-having microcapsules are suspended in a loosely coagulated state by the loose cross-linking action of the water-soluble polymer coagulant, and having a viscosity adjusted to a range of 2 to 30 mPa.s. The ink is charged into a writing or coating tool having an ink-delivering mechanism comprising a pen body and an ink-occluding member which comprise fibrous materials. |
