SOLUTION: The power transmission device 1 is forced to transmit rotational power via the frictional roller-type variable-speed machine 21 from the shaft of the motor 2. A switching means 7 is provided, by which the lead lines 14, 15 of the motor 2 are switched to short-circuit, when a torque acting in order to take around the shaft of the motor 2, at least from the side of the frictional roller-type variable-speed machine 21 is operated.
