PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapping screw capable of properly and plastically deforming a female screw without damaging a drilled hole for tapping to the hard fixed members such as a steel plate, plastic sheet, or die-casting plate, obtaining strong fastening force, and improving a corrosion-preventive effect of a screw body. SOLUTION: A protecting film 2 of an objective body has a hard property and a high melting point to the surface of a screw body 1 and a highly adhesive property to the screw body 1. A seizure preventive film 3 has a low melting point and a soft property, and is easily peeled off from the protecting film 2 of the objective body on the surface of the protecting film of the objective body.
