PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new structure of a reflux tube which can greatly reduce a refractory cost in a vacuum degassing treatment, and does not damage brick by transpiration of volatile components during use. SOLUTION: This structure of the reflux tube for a RH vacuum degassing vessel comprises fired brick, monolithic refractory and unfired brick, in the order from the inner side. The above fired brick is preferably a magnesia- chromite-based fired brick or a magnesia-carbon-based fired brick.
