PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a solid lubricant applying device by holding a solid lubricant with a rotation arm and a tongue piece of support member in a longitudinal groove shape directly attached to the rotation arm. SOLUTION: The solid lubricant applying device holds the solid lubricant (5) between support members (11, 12) in long groove shapes having a tongue piece (22) at each rotation arm (8, 9) arranged on both sides of a retaining board (6) and end surfaces (21) of the rotation arms (8, 9) and strongly holding by fastening with a screw body (25).
