PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a starting end of a female/male thread of a steel pipe pile, which can improve workability and a malfunction in the screwing and jointing of the female and male threads of the steel pipe pile connected by a screw joint. SOLUTION: Characteristically, an incomplete screw thread at an opening-side end of the female/screw thread 6 of the screw joint of the steel pipe pile is removed by an area which forms an angle of 90 degrees or more with respect to a starting end 6a of the screw thread in such a manner that a center (o) of the thread 6 serves as a center. |
