Digital sound processor

The digital sound processor processes signals input in analogue or digital form from at least one signal source (4,5,6) in the baseband or in a higher frequency band. Separate output signals are output for sound reproduction equipment (17,20). An internal control processor (10) receives control signals from at least one external controller (12,13) via a control signal input (100). The internal control processor controls the operating mode of the sound processor (1) according to the current sound standard. The control input is also connected to an internal audio signal source (27) which generates further audio signals which are fed to the sound reproduction equipment or to further sound reproduction equipment (23,25) depending on the control signals.
