PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rooting of seedlings for transplantation on the site and prevent weakening and injury of root on the site. SOLUTION: The seedlings for transplantation are obtained by coating whole sedum with a protective material. The protective material includes either one or a plurality of materials among a chemical adhesive material, an organic adhesive material, an organic film material. The organic coat material includes either one or a plurality of materials among humic soil, bentonite, paper, wood chip powder. The protective material can include either one or a plurality of materials among peat-moss, vermiculite, sphagnum moss, palm fiber, mineral powder, organism powder. This method for transplanting the seedlings comprises scattering scions of the sedum into soil in which palm mat is mixed to transplant the seedlings.
