PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking device which enables stable automatic cooking with constant roasted condition. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a heat quantity controller which controls heat quantity, drive controller 68 which controls the heat quantity controller according to the temperature detected by a temperature sensor 4a, a finish detector 93-3 which computes at least the time when cooking is finished according to the temperature rise detected by the temperature sensor, and a fish type selecting key by which the cooking procedure suitable for each fish type is selected. The detector for completion of roast is configured in such a way that it detects the rise in the temperature when the food is heated with a certain amount of heat quantity, computes the heating time depending on fish type specified by the fish type selecting key, heats the food for a specified period of time after automatically selecting the heat quantity from the plurality of heat quantities specified in advance, and automatically stops heating. It makes constant roasted condition possible because it analyzes how the temperature detected by the temperature sensor rises to accurately make a judgement on whether the food is done after selecting the fish type, automatically sets the heat quantity, and sets the heating time.
