A pulse signal generator comprises a pair of magnets (3a,3b) for producing a magnetic field, a magnetic element wire (5) provided in the magnetic field and capable of producing large Barkhausen jumps, a wire coil (2) provided around the magnetic element wire (5) to output a pulse signal. The magnetic element wire (5) is embedded in a coil bobbin (6).
