The connection comprises two pieces linked together by a pivot. The first connection piece (1) comprises a curved area along which there is a slot (6). The second connection piece (2) has a projecting tab (14) with a pivot (4) which also passes through the slot in the curved area. The first connection piece (1) comprises a flat area (9) which is extended by a curved area (10) which leads to a further smaller flat area. The two flat areas are thus perpendicular to each other. Along the centre of the curved area there is a slot (6). The second connection piece (2) comprises a rectangular plate with a projecting tab (14). This has an aperture, which receives a pivot (4) which also passes through the slot in the curved area. The two connection pieces are fastened together by this pivot, and may be clamped in a range of possible relative orientations. A locking element (5) is fitted to the second end of the pivot.
