PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device with which amusing motions can be obtained. SOLUTION: The driving device is equipped with a gear 524 which is axially supported by supporting bodies 600 and 510, a motor 530 which rotates the gear, and a rack section 541 which is engaged with the gear. Also, the driving device is equipped with a first moving section 540 which is axially supported by a supporting body, a second moving section 550 which is connected with the first moving section, and at the same time, is axially supported by a supporting body, and an urging means 570 which urges the first moving section. When the gear rotates, the first moving section and the second moving section are moved, and the rack section is disengaged from the gear. In addition, when the rack section is disengaged from the gear, the rack section is pushed back to the gear by the urging by the urging means. Then, when the teeth of the gear intermittently hit the final end of the rack section, the first moving section and the second moving section are shaken for the constitution of this driving device.
