PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm-equipped radiographic apparatus which helps smooth operation regardless of an operator's proficiency in operation by allowing him to preset the optimal position for X-ray application corresponding to every inspection item to facilitate the inspection. SOLUTION: Before operating the inspection, an optimal position for X-ray application corresponding to each inspection item is recorded by a touch sensor 45 and these positions are stored in a storage 49 according to each inspection item. Since a control unit 25 controls each of the drive units, 21, 27 to 33 based on such optimal positions in correspondence with the inspection items stored in the storage 49, an image intensifier and the table top can be relatively moved to the most desired position automatically, by simply selecting one inspection item, even if the apparatus has the function of posing limitations on the performance to prevent interference. Therefore, smooth operation can be achieved regardless of the skill in operation.
