PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking apparatus capable of automatically cooking to obtain a uniform and stable state of broiled object. SOLUTION: The cooking apparatus is characterized in that an exhaust part 58 is provided on the opposite position of a door part of a grill housing, in that the exhaust part 58 is constructed to have a double structure having an inside exhaust part and to have a flue 60 for a sensor which flue is located in the middle of the direction of the height of a wire net 54 within the grill housing and in the middle of the distance between a right and a left lower burners 37, respectively, in that a thermal sensor 4a for measuring the temperature within the grill housing is located in the flue 60, and in that a high-accuracy detection of a temperature is possible by creating and removing an air flow only at a part beneath the wire net exhibiting a characteristic temperature of a fish through a draft effect caused by the flue and by preventing a heat of the exhaust air of the upper part of the flue from causing an error due to a thermal conduction to the sensor.
