PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail clipper capable of correctly positioning the cutting edge. SOLUTION: Cutting edges 3, 4 are equipped on one end 1A of the upper plate 1 and one end 3A of the lower plate 3, respectively. The other end 1B of the upper plate 1 is connected with the other end 3B of the lower plate 3, respectively, matching a pair of cutting edges 2, 4. A pin shaft 6 is connected to a support shaft 5 in the vicinity of a pair of cutting edges 2, 4 to make a pressing plate 7 capable of freely rotating to raise and topple down. The other end 1B of the upper plate 1 and the other end 3B of the lower plate 3 are equipped relatively rotatable by a rivet 8 equipped parallel with the support shaft 5. The upper plate 1 and the lower plate 3 can be relatively rotated to open both plates and to enable cutting edges 2, 4 or the like to be easily worked.
