PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase for exhibiting goods for sale, which can place a suitable advertisement of the goods in the vicinity of the goods for which the advertisement is wanted. SOLUTION: The showcase with displaying function which houses the exhibited goods inside and is provided with transparent panels through which the goods can be seen from outside, is provided with advertisement displaying sections each of which is composed of a transparent display disposed on the transparent panel and can display advertisement information about the goods, and positions where the advertisement information is displayed can be changed in the transparent panels in terms of the structure. The advertisement displaying section is structured to be smaller than the transparent panel and to be capable of moving along the transparent panel, whereby the position displaying the advertisement information can be changed through movement of the advertisement displaying section. A transparent electro-luminescent (EL) display using EL elements is utilized for the transparent panel.
