PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt meandering correction apparatus capable of correcting without generating unpleasant sound, and a dehydrating belt press using the same. SOLUTION: An upper 8 and a lower filter cloth belt 10 are laid along a sludge feeding passage and the meandering of the upper and lower filter cloth belts 8 and 10 is corrected by the correction apparatus 22. The coefficient of friction of correction rollers 25 is lower than that of the rollers 21, 30, 23 and 33 before and behind the rollers 25.
