PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope with a sheath which realizes an inexpensive cost even with a disposable sheath and a sheath cover by reducing a cost for disposable parts. SOLUTION: The endoscope has the following parts. The sheath 10 made of a flexible material is formed into a cylindrical shape thinner than an insertional part 2 of the endoscope and covers all over the insertional part 2 of the endoscope by being inflated by gas sent to the inside of the sheath 10. The sheath cover 20 is attached to and detached from the sheath 10 while surrounding the sheath 10 with a clearance to control the sheath 10 not to be inflated too much. An air pipe 4 to send gas into the inside of the sheath 10 is placed by penetrating the inside of the insertional part 2 of the endoscope. An entrance of the air pipe 4 is placed only at an operational section 3 connected to a proximal end of the insertional part 2 of the endoscope. |
