PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide safe wet tissue paper that can prevent the drying of the backing sheet over time and the propagation of various germs and that does not require the addition of antiseptic or preservatives in the impregnating liquid. SOLUTION: The wet tissue paper consists of the backing sheet made of either absorptive paper or non-woven fabric and the impregnating liquid that is to be impregnated in the backing sheet. The special feature of the wet tissue paper is that the impregnating is sealed in a container and that the backing sheet is contained under dried condition in an outer container together with the impregnating liquid container.
