PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape prevented from biting-in cloth for a fastener, which is prevented from biting-in the cloth edge of a fastener attaching part to enable the fastener to be always operated smoothly when the slider is operated, and a fastener equipped with the tape. SOLUTION: One half part of this tape prevented from biting-in cloth is made into a condition dispersed as comb teeth and the other half part into a condition attachable to a fastener tape 5 with engaging elements 2, 3. This fastener 1 is constituted by fixing the tapes prevented from biting-in cloth to the surface and/or the backside of a pair of fasteners 4, 5 respectively so that the edge parts of the comb teeth members 9 are hung on the engaging elements 2, 3.
