PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a soft and comfortable touch of hitting balls, a long flying distance and excellent durability for continuous hitting. SOLUTION: In the golf ball which has the solid core covered with one layer or two layers or more of cover directly or through an intermediate layer, at least one layer of the cover is made as a high hardness cover layer that contains an inorganic filler of 50 to 40 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of a base resin while the Shore D hardness is 66 to 80.
