<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical mixer for a developer which produces the developer stable in an electrostatic property and which can save electricity for producing the developer by mixing a toner with a carrier. SOLUTION: A magnetic permeability sensor is installed at a position contacting the developer in a mixing vessel. The mixing is finished at a point of time when either power consumption or an increasing in temperature of the developer reaches the predetermined value from starting when the standard deviation of the fluctuation of the magnetic permeability falls within a predetermined value after the start of mixing.</p> |
