PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal dehydration method by which the cake having the same liquid content as that of the cake obtained by filtering slurry centrifugally in a small centrifugal separation apparatus can be obtained from the same slurry by using another large centrifugal separation apparatus. SOLUTION: When a first wet cake layer is formed by filtering a solid-liquid mixture in a first centrifugal filtration apparatus, the angular velocityΩ1 of a first vessel-shaped rotor, the thickness d1 of the first wet cake layer and the distance r1 from a rotary shaft to the center of the thickness d1 are determined by using an angular velocityΩ2 , the thickness d2 of a second wet cake layer and the distance r2 from the rotary shaft to the center of the thickness d2 which are obtained when the second wet cake layer is formed before the formation of the first wet cake layer, by a second centrifugal filtration apparatus so that expression: r1 .Ω1 <2> .d1 =a.r2 .Ω2 <2> .d2 and 0.75<=a<=1.33 are satisfied.
