PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-liquid separator suppressing the generation of microbes on the back side of fixed gear and movable gear and capable of keeping good solid-liquid separatability. SOLUTION: A drainage part 125 housing a charged solid-liquid mixture and shaking the movable gear 120 on a liquid discharge part 105 to drain the solid-liquid mixture is formed by the fixed gear 110 and the movable gear 120 both of which are formed into an arcuate comb-like shape to be meshed mutually, a rotary plate 122 integrated with the movable gear 120 and a side surface plate 124. A solid component after drainage is allowed to fall to a solid discharge part 106 by reversing the movable gear 120 and a cleaning mechanism for removing the adherend on the back side of the fixed gear 110 and the movable gear 120 is provided. The cleaning mechanism comprises a cleaning member 140 contacting with the back sides of the fixed gear 110 and the movable gear 120 to remove the adherend and a transmission mechanism (small gear 142, large gear 143) operating the cleaning member 140 in connection with the movable gear 120.
