PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined tiller provided with a rotary tiller and a chisel tiller and capable of carrying out operation by slighter power than a case when operation is carried out by a conventional rotary tiller alone when the chisel tiller is operated in nearly same tilling depth as that of the rotary tiller alone. SOLUTION: This combined tiller 1 is attached to a traveling machine body and is provided with the rotary tiller 2 for carrying out rotary tilling operation and the chisel tiller 3. In the combined tiller 1, (1) the rotary tiller 2 and the chisel tiller 3 are arranged parallel in the vertical direction and so that the most of the operating part of the chisel tiller 3 is positioned in the rotation radius of a rotary tine 2c of the rotary tiller 2 or in the vertical lower direction of the rotary tine 2c and (2) the chisel tiller 3 is arranged so as to act on a part of the operation range or the entire operation range of the rotary tiller 2. Then, rotary tilling operation and chisel tilling operation are carried out by the slighter power.
