PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging type hanger, an opening of whose hanging hook can be opened/closed with a gripping operation of a grip section, and which is provided with another operating portion with which an operation for opening/closing the opening can be done, whereby the hanger taking-in process can be done quickly and simply. SOLUTION: The hanging type hanger has a hanger body which is provided with the hanging hook 1 forming the opening M for holding detachably from the crosswise direction to a suspender section R of a wash-line pole or the like, and with a closing body 2 for closing the opening M, in a way an opening operation can relatively freely be done while opposing a biased means in the closing direction, and the hanging hook 1 is provided with a finger hook portion 10 with which a pulling operation can be done in the opening direction while a closing side edge 2c, which is a swing guide section for guiding a slip-out movement of the hanging hook 1, touches the suspender section R.
