PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly operable shelf setting storage unit in which a storage body is automatically taken in/out by an automatic rotation mechanism and, further, the storage body is automatically pulled out by holding and pulling a pulling out handle and, on the contrary, the stored body is elevated and stored by holding and pushing the pulling out handle as a conventional manual operating method. SOLUTION: This shelf setting storage unit is equipped with an automatic rotation mechanism 6 to automatically rotate a support arm 3 by a motor 6A. The unit is further equipped with a normal/reverse rotating mechanism 7 to control the motor 6A to normally/reversely rotate so that the support arm 3 is automatically rotated by pulling the pulling out handle 5 forward to normally drive the motor 6A so as to pull a storage body 2 out of the shelf 1 and by pushing the pulling out handle 5 rearward to reversely drive the motor 6A so as to push the storage body 2 into the shelf 1.
