PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of conventional riding paddy working machines that they have each a structure that the brakes for the lateral rear wheels are set on the rear case axially supporting the lateral rear wheels and is parted away from the steering mechanism for the front wheels in front of the machine body, thus the mechanism linking the steering mechanism for the front wheels to the brakes for the lateral rear wheels results in being prolonged in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: The lateral side clutches I for the lateral rear wheels 7 and the lateral rear wheel brake J are disposed on the mission case 11. As the steering is actuated from a straight driving state to more than a prescribed angle, the side clutch I of the inside of the rear wheel 7 is put off. Simultaneously, the lateral rear brakes J is actuated with the pedal 140 set in the area below the steering handle 16. In the riding paddy working machine, the mission case 11 is arranged near below both of the steering handle 16 and the pedal 140.
