A method and apparatus for reproducing in an interactive mode are provided. The method of reproducing content (e.g. A/V data) from an information storage medium (e.g. DVD disc 100) in an interactive mode includes receiving or reading information, which is necessary for reproducing the content in the interactive mode, from Internet or the information storage medium; and reproducing the content in the interactive mode based on a combination of the received or read information. Accordingly, even if the information for reproducing the content in the interactive mode is not recorded on the information storage medium, the content can still be reproduced in the interactive mode. <IMAGE>
