PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring characteristics of eyeball movements and its device which allow diagnosticians at remote locations to share common, clear objective data by emphasizing a mechanism of transmitting disturbances to the eyeball movements, or transfer characteristics, converting it in tints and colors, and imaging it digitally. SOLUTION: In the method of measuring characteristics of eyeball movements that a rotating angle (a thin solid line in Fig. 1 (A)) to an input of tilt of the body (a thick solid line in Fig. 1 (A)) is measured by a digital image analysis without making contact, changes of transfer characteristics of the eyeball movements, or the mechanism of transmitting disturbances to the eyeball movements, are emphasized and made visible as a digital image in tints and colors by identifying model parameters through Kalman filter, which is a dynamic calculating method. As a result, diagnoses with time difference and accurate comparative reviews on clinical examples of sense of equilibrium based on the common clear objective data are performed by the diagnosticians at remote locations. |
