<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new means for expressing a pattern generating process, and a pattern fixing mode capable of stimulating feeling of expectation of a player using the expressing means. SOLUTION: A plurality of pattern lines are provided on the same virtual cylinder r. Pattern display elements X spirally provided on it are generated in a pattern display range 3 of a pattern display device 6. In the pattern generating process, each pattern line spirally runs along the vertical cylinder r to stop to generate a fixed pattern mode Y by an effective pattern group Z along an axial direction of it. Expressed patterns along the axial direction in the pattern lines can thus be easily increased in number, or varied, compared to those in conventional devices. Since the pattern display elements X has a virtual three-dimensional structure, the plurality of pattern lines can run spirally (in three-dimensional actuation) by using a circumferential surface of it.
