<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant filter element for separating and collecting particles from dusty gas using polyethylene particles, continuously usable under a high temperature of 70-130 deg.C, especially about 90-110 deg.C, excellent in chemical resistance, having flexibility, excellent in mass productivity and low in cost, and a method for manufacturing the heat-resistant filter element while lowering equipment cost and considering the environment. SOLUTION: A fluoroplastic resin coating layer is formed on a surface of an open-cell porous molded article made of fused particles of a resin composition composed of polyethylene and containing 0.1-3 pts.mass of an oxidation inhibitor per 100 pts.mass of the resin component.</p> |
