PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment device in which dried garbage is not adhered to a lid when the garbage is treated. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment device is provided with a garbage treatment tank 1 for housing and treating the garbage, a heating means for blasting warm air and heating in order to treat the garbage inside the garbage treatment device 1, a lid 11 for closing an opening on the upper face of the garbage treatment tank 1 when the garbage is treated, and an agitation blade 6 rotated and driven in order to agitate the garbage inside the garbage treatment tank 1 when the garbage is treated. In the device, the agitation blade 6 is rotatably driven in the forward and reverse directions on a horizontal face, and an inclined plane 17 which is inclined with respect to the horizontal face is provided in the agitation blade 6. The agitation blade 6 is controlled to switch in the forward direction to the reverse direction so that the agitation blade 6 is rotated and driven in a direction where the garbage is easily rolled up when the garbage is not dried and the agitation blade 6 is rotated and driven in a direction where the garbage is hardly rolled up when the garbage is dried. |
